In-Home vs. In-Office Treatment for Combat PTSD
Clinical study in San Antonio offers gold-standard care at no cost

Are you looking for help with combat-related PTSD and hoping for easier access to high-quality care?

The STRONG STAR Consortium is conducting a research study with one of the leading treatments for PTSD, known as Cognitive Processing Therapy, comparing three methods of treatment delivery: traditional in-office care with a therapist; treatment in the patient’s home thru face-to-face visits by the therapist; and treatment in the patient’s home via video teleconference with the therapist (similar to Skype).

This study, which offers care at no charge, is being conducted in the San Antonio area and is open to military service members and veterans who have deployed since 9/11.

Are you experiencing any of these symptoms?
--Feeling jumpy or always on edge--Loss of interest in regular activities
--Haunting memories, nightmares, or flashbacks--Mood swings or irritability

If so, you may be eligible for this or another study offering treatment at no cost. Together, let’s find what best fits your needs.
